As a Patent Agent, you will play a crucial role in protecting the intellectual property of our clients, ensuring their groundbreaking ideas and inventions are safeguarded.
Your primary responsibilities will include :
- Conducting comprehensive patent searches and analyses to identify potential prior art and assess the patentability of client inventions
- Preparing and filing patent applications, including drafting detailed patent specifications, claims, and supporting documentation
- Communicating with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and other patent offices to navigate the application process and address any inquiries or objections
- Providing strategic advice and guidance to clients on patent portfolio management, including patent prosecution, maintenance, and enforcement
- Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in patent law and regulations to ensure compliance and identify new opportunities for clients
Requirements and Qualifications :
3+ years of relevant experience
An in-depth understanding of patent law and US patent office practices and procedures
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Able to effectively interpret complex statutory language and legal precedents
Proficient in using various databases and legal research tools
Able to work independently and in a team environment
Demonstrated project management and organizational skills
