Pay Range : $18.00 - $20.00 / hr
Remote, Onsite or Blended : D uring training will be onsite, with potential for hybrid once trained (2 days onsite, 3 days WFH)
Contract / Contract-Hire / Direct-Hire : long-termcontract
Length of Assignment : 6 months 1 year with potential for conversion
Preferred schedule / flex time options? The department is open 8am-6pm, can be flexible within that timeframe to accommodate an 8 hour work day with 1 hour lunch
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Previous data entry and customer service experience (1 year minimum, 2 years preferred)
- Detail oriented focused on accuracy and timeliness of duties
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and skills
- Knowledge of computer applications such as MS Word and Excel is required
- Ability to report to a physical office location as well as to work remotely, if necessary
Primary Responsibilities / what does a typical day :
- Registering cellular alarm systems.
- Answering basic technical support questions.
- Walk throughs on how to process credit card for payments.
- Light collection duties.
- Friendly.
- B2B businesses are calling in
- Sell to a distribution company, who sells to an alarm dealer, who then sells to a business or individual. Supporting the alarm dealers in support of the end users.
- Loop in a tech support rep if needed.
- HIGH ON ONE CALL RESOLUTION WANT TO RESOLVE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE UPFRONT
Experience / soft skills must have vs nice to have :
- Microsoft Office Suite, Excel is especially helpful
- Can otherwise teach so long as they are self managing, professional and able to learn
- Strong time management and can stay focused on tasks they need to accomplish
- Will work across multi-departments and support their dealers, may have to work w tech support team if dealer calls in and has an issue
- Previous customer service experience or call center background is ok if they are reliable
Software, and technical skills required vs preferred?
- Must learn to use their proprietary system
