This role requires a Registered Nurse with experience in either transplant or critical care, preferably with a BSN and appropriate licensure.
The Abdominal Transplant Coordinator will be responsible for evaluating and preparing patients for organ transplantation, as well as managing their care after the transplant.
The role also involves serving as an information resource for patients and their families. The schedule typically involves Monday to Friday with no weekends or holidays.
Candidates must have a minimum of two years of clinical experience and be committed to promoting safe, personalized, and compassionate care for all community members.
Key responsibilities include performing initial patient assessments, coordinating pre and post-transplant interventions, providing guidance to staff and physicians, ensuring safe patient care, and promoting professional growth and development.
