THE ROLE
We are leading the search for our client to find a talented Sr. Backend Software Engineer. You will be a critical member of the engineering team, building products for collecting, sharing and analyzing de-identified patient data to help researchers and clinical practitioners improve patient outcomes.
This role is fully remote.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Work on building out the largest peer network for healthcare providers, allowing them to collaborate, share data, investigate rare diseases, and develop novel techniques
Build new product features by working with product managers and designers
Perform peer code reviews and mentor as needed
Support and optimize a critical production environment
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Experience building web applications (5+ years for senior role)
Ability to write clean, well designed, and scalable code
Professional experience working in large monolithic Ruby on Rails codebase and with GraphQL
Knowledge of databases and desire to work in a collaborative environment
Experience or familiarity with FHIR a plus
