Salary Range : $57,000 67,000
In-Depth Engineering seeks Test Directors to support the growing needs of our Aegis Ship Integration and Test (SI&T) program specifically conducting the government provided shipboard test procedures and documenting test completion and test discrepancies.
The work is performed at our customer site in San Diego, CA. Candidates for consideration must be a US citizen and be able to obtain an active Department of Defense secret clearance.
This is a permanent, full-time position.All experience levels are welcome to apply.
Duties
Ensure all resource requirements are in place to properly execute each test event
Assist in the coordination of sea trial testing, including training participants on respective test procedures and reviewing status of test results
Conduct shipboard testing according to government furnished test procedures
Inform the ATO / ATM of test related issues and requirements
Support other Test Directors / Lead in coordinating to ensure successful completion of all combat system test events
Ensure that all test, training, and operational event reports are collected from their respective team leaders and test results are promptly recorded.
Qualifications
Associate degree with 1+ years of experience, or 5+ years of experience without a degree
Experience with large scale Ship Integration and Test Practices
Navy E5 or higher
US Navy surface combatant CIC at-sea watchstation experience and working with US Navy hardware & software
