CSDG is seeking a passionate, accountable Civil Engineer who has earned their B.S. in Civil Engineering with in the past two years .

Under the supervision of a licensed professional.
- Prepare technical reports and calculations for submittal and review by regulatory agencies to support the design.
- Review information provided by other disciplines and review agencies to understand project requirements, design specifications, and constraints.
- Conduct research and analysis to evaluate the feasibility, safety, and impact of proposed designs.
- Review and analyze data, such as site surveys, maps, and geotechnical reports, to inform design decisions.
- Review applicable regulations, codes, and standards which the design must be based on.
- Maintain accurate records of design work and project communications.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss design, provide updates, and obtain feedback.
- Review and modify designs based on feedback from other team members, regulatory agencies, and from clients.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an ABET accredited college with a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering.
- Eligible to sit for the Fundamentals of Engineering exam; Engineer Intern licensure preferred.
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in designs and calculations.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry practices.
- Familiarity with project management concepts and tools is beneficial.
- Internships or practical experience are an advantage.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with project managers to establish project timelines and designs
- Complete and submit timesheets daily.
- Complete and submit expense reports monthly.
- Collaborate with team members to learn design fundamentals.
