Job Description

Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist at Patchogue, NY! This is a 3 months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Role : Phlebotomist

Location : Patchogue, NY 11772

Shift Schedule :

Alternating week schedule

A schedule : M-F 7am-2 : 30pm, Sat 6am-12pm

B schedule : M-F 6am-2 : 30pm

Hours per Week : 40 hours

Start Date : ASAP

Pay Highlights : $17-21 / hour (Based on years of experience)

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform daily phlebotomy and specimen processing activities accurately and efficiently under the supervision of the area supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment at all times.
• Confidently perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection duties while following established practices and procedures.
• Maintain required records, logs, and documentation to ensure compliance with laboratory standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promoting a positive and professional image to patients, clients, and colleagues.
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of patient information in all aspects of the work.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment, leadership behaviors, and process excellence.

Qualifications :

Education : High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience : Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (Required)

Note : Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.
