KeyResponsibilities :
ClinicalLeadership : Provideclinicaloversightandleadershiptothemedicalclinicalteam,ensuringadherencetoqualitystandards andethical principles.
Collaboratewith the Practice Manager and Nurse Manager tomaintain highstandardsofmedical and nursingcare.
StrategicPlanning : Participateinstrategicinitiativesandpolicydevelopmentinalignmentwithorganizationalgoals.Workclosely with BWH Primary Care to implement strategic initiatives and foster community health efforts.
TeamManagement : Recruit,hire,andorientphysicians.Developstaffingpatternstomeetpatientcareneedsandpromotea culture of trust and respect.
Provide supervision, support, and performance evaluation to physician staff.
QualityAssurance : Developandimplementstandardsforpatientcare,focusingonequityandinclusivity.Reviewpatientcare quality, laboratorytests,andancillaryprocedures.
Leadqualityimprovementefforts andmonitorpatientsatisfaction results.
TeachingPractice : CollaboratewithDepartmentofMedicineresidencyprogramtoensurethatteachinggoalsandrequirements are met for the internal medicinetrainees that have their primary care clinicsin the practice.
Opportunitiestoserve asa continuity preceptor for internal medicine residents and Harvard medical students.
EducationandTraining : Coordinatein-serviceandcontinuing education programsformedicalandalliedhealthprofessionals.
Administration and Budget : In conjunction withPractice Manager and Nurse Manager, assist in developingannual practice volume,expense,andrevenueprojections.
Collaborateoncostreduction,efficiencyimprovement,andoutcomeenhancement projects. Participate in designated Medical Staff committees.

Qualifications
Qualifications :
- Minimumfiveyearsofmedicalpracticeandclinicalleadershipexperience.
- MedicalDoctor(M.D.) orDoctor of Osteopathy(D.O.).
- BoardCertifiedorBoardEligibleInternalMedicineorFamily MedicinePhysician.
- Licenseto practicemedicineinMassachusettsincludingMCSRandDEA.
- Excellentmanagement,communication,and leadershipskills.
- Abilityto build andnurture healthyrelationshipsand fosteracultureofbelonging.
- Significant administrative orclinical leadership experience.
- Understanding of structuralracism and commitmentto racial justiceandequity.
- Stronganalytical, interpersonal,and communicationskills.

Appointment at the Harvard Medical School
A Harvard Medical School appointment at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level may be applied for commensurate with qualifications.
Academic appointment at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training, achievements, and teaching activities.
All Harvard Medical School Faculty appointments require at least 50 hours of teaching per academic year. Harvard Medical School faculty appointment is not a requirement for this position.
