Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our growing team. The Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing all tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and providing tax planning and consulting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of tax compliance, including the preparation and filing of tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and non-profit organizations
• Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients, including recommendations on tax-saving strategies and potential liabilities
• Work with clients to ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations, and advise on tax-related business decisions
• Manage and supervise staff, including providing training and development opportunities
• Prepare and review financial statements, and assist with business valuation and cost segregation studies
• Assist with client management and business development efforts, including identifying potential opportunities and building relationships with key stakeholders

Qualifications

• CPA credential required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting and tax compliance
• Extensive knowledge of C-Corp, S-Corp, Partnership Tax, Trust Estate Tax, and Not For Profit tax regulations
• Experience with High Net Worth Individual, Real Estate, Pass Through, Closely Held Businesses, and Non-profit tax issues
• Strong understanding of tax accounting and compliance auditing
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Quickbooks and financial statement preparation
• Ability to sign tax returns a plus
• Demonstrated experience with tax planning and consulting, including flow through entities and compliance
• Small Business Consulting experience preferred
