Position : Project Civil Engineer II, or III

Project Civil Engineer to provide full-cycle project support for Land Development projects. This candidate will support all phases of a project from Feasibility through Construction Administration services.

The candidate will also be a Team player possessing exceptional technical skills in the Civil Engineering Field with respect to Land Development.

Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor of Civil Engineering
  • Licensure : EIT preferred. Soil Evaluator’s License a Plus.
  • Software : Civil 3D CAD, HydroCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe
  • Experience : 2 - 6 years project design in land development field
  • Excellent technical knowledge within civil engineering field with the ability to perform quality control on deliverables (plans, reports, specifications) for various Land Development projects.
  • Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of local and regional jurisdictional requirements, zoning regulations and the Land Development approvals processes.

Project Civil Engineer Key Responsibilities :

  • Designs and Produces Permitting / Construction plan sets for various small to large-scale Land Development projects (Site Layout, Grading, Stormwater Management, Utility, Erosion & Sediment Control, etc.).
  • Leads development and preparation of reports, specifications, permit and other milestone deliverable submissions.
  • Ability to perform Construction Administration (CA) tasks; including all shop drawing submittal reviews and construction site visits / punch list inspections, including addressing complex field issues related (multi-disciplinary coordination, permit, and cost impacts).
  • Responsible for fostering client relationships and is mindful of project performance and profitability.
  • Receive technical guidance and mentorship on unusual or complex design issues and supervisory approval on proposed plans for projects.
  • Proactive problem solving, attention to detail, and motivation to learn.
  • Collaborative, professional work ethic with strong verbal and written communication skills.
