Description :

As a CDL A Truck Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty trucks to transport goods and materials over short or long distances.

You will ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to traffic laws and maintaining the highest safety standards.

Responsibilities :

• Safely operate and maneuver commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, to transport goods to various locations.
• Ensure proper securing and containment of materials during transport to prevent spillage or loss
• Load and unload cargo while ensuring proper handling and securing of materials.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle's mechanical and safety integrity.
• Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, and hours of service.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and routes.
• Follow established safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on vehicles, such as checking fluids, tires, and brakes.
• Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
• Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers and other road users.
• Operate heavy equipment ( Excavators, Skid Steer, Cranes, etc)

Qualifications :

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record..
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work long hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining vehicle cleanliness and organization.
• Mechanical aptitude for performing basic vehicle maintenance tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
