Med Surg Oncology RN - 12H Nights

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts, with assignments ending on Saturdays. Orientation occurs every other week on Mondays, with a requirement to work 2-3 weekends per month based on unit needs.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Med Surg Oncology RN for night shifts. Candidates must have previous travel experience and will be required to float based on unit needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Med Surg Oncology setting.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, providing updates to the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

    • Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Active VA or Compact License required upon start.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a clear explanation of any gaps in employment over 90 days.
  • Completion of Skills Checklist and submission of Nursys / license copy.
