English / Spanish Information Specialist ($22 / hr -hybrid)
Aboutthe opening :
- Pay rate : $22 / hr
- Hybrid option available after a 3-week training period
- Must be in office Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; Remote everyWednesday and Friday
Responsibilities :
- Identify and assess caller needs and eligibility for health and humanservice resources
- Enter accurate and complete information in multiple onlineplatforms / systems
- Provide appropriate and accurate referrals to local agencies / programs
- Complete online call reports accurately via the iCarol database
- Work towards gaining AIRS (Alliance for Information & ReferralSystems) Certification
- Assist in special projects or community response / disaster situations
- Maintain data integrity, protocols, and guidelines
- Understand public and private health and social service agencies,faith-based organizations, and public assistance programs
- Primarily work with chat, text, and email platforms to supplyinformation and resources
Qualifications :
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish
- Prior Call Center experience
- Experience with data gathering techniques
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, databases, and othersoftware systems
- Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading skills
- Proficient typing skills and strong writing skills
- Works well within a team and independently
- Comfortable working in an office setting and remotely when necessary
- General knowledge of Health & Human Services
- Ability to attend functions, meetings, and activities outside ofnormal work hours as needed
- Must be able to work in-office during scheduled hours
- Customer service experience is a must
