Bechtel is partnering with NextDecade to support their vision to provide the world access to lower carbon intensive energy with their Rio Grande LNG (RGLNG) project in Brownsville, Texas. RGLNG is a natural gas liquefaction and export terminal situated on a 984-acre site on the banks of the Brownsville ship channel. The first phase of the RGLNG project consists of three liquefaction trains, two storage tanks and one marine berth. At full capacity, the five-train facility will have a production capacity of 27 million tonnes per annum (MTPA). Brownsville, Texas is a city known for its diverse history, tradition, and rich culture. Job Summary
The Lead Timekeeper will oversee Timekeeping functions for the Project with a craft professional workforce of up to 6,000 employees. In this role, you will assist with day-to-day payroll operations. You will coordinate group processing schedules and the creation and balancing of outbound files for banking, labor, and tax. You will provide oversight for agency labor, and support for account reconciliation and system design changes. Your work will ensure the integrity of employee data and accurate and timely payroll processing and payments.

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience. 3+ years of Timekeeping experience, including proficiency with Bechtel's eTrack application.
Required Knowledge and Skills : Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in financial practices. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with senior site management and cross-functional teams. Proven leadership in managing finance operations in a dynamic, field-based environment. Commitment to enforcing financial controls and ensuring compliance with Bechtel policies and contractual obligations. Flexibility and resilience in meeting tight deadlines and adapting to evolving project needs. Above average communications, analytical, and organizational skills. Good initiative and ability to work independently while functioning effectively with a team environment. Good business judgment in execution of assigned work and in understanding when issues need to be escalated for resolution.
