Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Cath Lab Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (06 : 30 - 19 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 1 year required License : Active Illinois license required Certifications : ACLS and BLS Must-Have : Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab experience, Cerner experience Job Description : Open to later start dates- Work in a 5-room unit with an average daily census of 25- First-timers accepted- Weekend work required : 2-3 weekends per contract- On-call duties as needed- Candidates should be flexible to float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby as needed- Block scheduling requests can be discussed with the manager- Required Cardiac Cath Lab Procedure Experience : - Circulate Procedures - Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult - Left heart catheterization - Pulmonary Artery Line / Swan Ganz monitoring - Right heart catheterization- Required Medication Experience : - Procedural Sedation Administration / Monitoring- Required Professional Skills / Experience : - Interpretation / Management of Dysrhythmias - Monitoring Procedural Sedation- Hospital is an Acute Care Hospital, Level I Trauma Center, and Magnet facility with 562 staffed beds- Scrub color provided- Flu vaccine required - Medical / Religious Exemptions Only
