Position Summary

The Technical Writer supports the FAA Corporate Training Solutions Division at MMAC by developing, writing, and editing technical and instructional materials for new and revised FAA training courses. The role collaborates with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), instructional designers, and graphic artists to ensure all courseware and publications are clear, accurate, and compliant with FAA standards, policies, and guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities

Content Development & Documentation

• Develop, write, proofread, and edit instructional materials for FAA training courses in multiple delivery media (print, digital, web‑based, and presentation formats).
• Create and revise materials such as lesson plans, scripts, course books, instructor guides, training aids, manuals, reports, and proposals.
• Ensure content adheres to FAA training standards, maintains consistency of tone, and supports instructional objectives.
• Incorporate visuals—including graphics, charts, diagrams, and photographs—into materials to enhance clarity and learner comprehension.
• Collaborate with SMEs and courseware developers to validate technical accuracy and completeness of training materials.
