Pediatric Nurse
Join a team of RN's, LPN's, MA's, and CNA's in providing care to our children! We work with providers for well exams, ill visits, and vaccine clinics to help keep our children healthy!
Responsibilites :
- Daily assignments to a provider, check in and room patients
- Obtain vitals
- Perform labs and screenings (In house Flu, Strep, Covid, RSV, UA testing, vision and hearing screenings)
- Administer vaccines and medications
- Order appropriate send out labs / studies per provider instructions
- Perform patient education (Inhaler / spacer use, nebulizer use etc.)
- Perform procedures in house such as straight catheterization, nasopharyngeal suctions, or assist provider with circumcision or frenotomy
- Phone triage and education support for families seeking care and advice
- Share skills and knowledge with CNA and MA staff to ensure excellence in patient care
- 1 evening shift (12pm-8pm) per week
- Rotating Saturdays (One every 4-8 weeks depending on if it's respiratory season or not)
