Position Overview

As a Senior Product Manager on the Product Management team, you will play a central role in building innovative data and analytics solutions to power the clean energy economy.

You will own a significant portion of our SaaS Platform, and will work closely with customers, internal and external stakeholders, engineering teams, and company leadership to develop and execute our product strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate between customers, our commercial team, and engineering organization to translate our customers’ business needs into product requirements that are ready for development.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop, collect, and prioritize ideas for new product features and for improvements to existing products.
  • Execute and manage product discovery processes that help us develop a deep understanding of real user problems, and to refine product ideas in order to solve them.
  • Collect and interpret data on user behavior, and use it to inform product strategy.
  • Document product requirements and break them down into epics and stories in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Work with engineering and design professionals on a daily basis to implement our product vision.
  • Empower our marketing, sales, and customer success teams with information about our products.
  • Manage the product roadmap and backlog, and communicate it with stakeholders.
  • Delight users and prospects with an intuitive, efficient, and effective user interface.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of Software Product Management experience, mostly with Software-as-a-Service products.
  • Industry experience in the energy industry, electric power markets, or financial risk management.
  • Track record of regularly releasing new products or product improvements.
  • Track record of working with engineering, design, marketing, and other internal partners to coordinate, plan, execute, and track product releases from beginning to end.
  • Considerable experience working in agile teams, in close collaboration with scrum masters, technical leads, engineers, and design professionals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with a demonstrated ability to influence internal teams, external clients, and senior management to generate consensus.
  • Knowledge of Product Management tools (e.g., Jira) and processes (e.g., product discovery).
  • Experience configuring and using one or more user tracking tools such as Pendo, Amplitude, Google Analytics, or Mixpanel.
  • Passion for uncovering and addressing customer pain points.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related technical discipline.
  • Familiarity with data analytics, statistics, and math.
  • Experience building data or analytics platforms.
  • An understanding of APIs, DevOps, and CloudOps.

Details

Our organization works on a hybrid model. We are in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at our downtown Boston building, remote optional on Wednesdays and Fridays.
