What you'll do :
The IT Configuration Management Process Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the implementation, process documentation, and management of asset and configuration management program.
This role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of configuration data, developing, and enforcing policies, conducting audits, and driving organizational change to adopt best practices in configuration management.
This role will collaborate closely with IT and business units to ensure effective asset and configuration management practices.
What we are looking for :
- Develop and implement comprehensive configuration management processes, ensuring alignment with ITIL best practices and organizational goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document configuration item (CI) requirements and relationships.
- Establish and CI lifecycle processes.
- Ensure the effective integration of configuration management with other ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Oversee the management and maintenance of the CMDB, ensuring accurate and up-to-date CI records.
- Coordinate with IT teams and external vendors to ensure smooth deployment and integration of configuration management solutions.
- Develop and deliver training programs for end-users and administrators to ensure effective adoption of configuration management processes and tools.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with configuration management policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and analyze configuration management performance metrics and KPIs.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of configuration management processes.
Qualifications :
- 5+ years of experience in configuration management, with a focus on process development and implementation.
- Strong understanding of ITIL and ITSM principles.
- Proficiency with ServiceNow CMDB and other configuration management tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with ITIL process framework and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in IT asset management.
- Ability to demonstrate managing large organizational changes with excellent collaboration skills.
