About The Position
Job Title : Technologist / Technician Job Specialty : Surgical Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night, 8H (23 : 00-07 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 4 years License : Required Certifications : Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Must-Have : Availability for off-shift and on-call requirements (4-5 obligations different from scheduled daily shifts per 13-week contract).
This may include weekday night or weekend day / night shifts. Job Description : Perform in a high-tech operating room environment with 26 spacious suites.
- Engage in both inpatient and outpatient procedures catering to patients of all ages, from neonate to geriatrics.- Provide surgical assistance in specialties such as ENT, general surgery, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, gynecology, ophthalmology, oral surgery, neurosurgery, robotics, vascular, cardiac, and thoracic surgery.
- Ensure the readiness and maintenance of the operating room prior to procedures.- Collaborate with the surgical team to provide optimal patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Adhere to sterile techniques and safety protocols.- Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the surgical department.
- Participate in orientation for 16 hours to acclimate to the facility’s systems and procedures.
