Overview

Position Summary :

THIS POSITION IS ON-SITE.

The Compliance Director is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day effectiveness of CHLA’s Compliance Program. Provides leadership to the department, serving as an effective communicator and manager of the organization’s vision and goals, and the department’s role in achieving them.

Act as a key stakeholder in the enterprise-wide Compliance strategy. Subject-matter expert on compliance topics by maintaining comprehensive knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and policies, and by writing and reviewing applicable internal policies and procedures.

Oversight of the design and delivery of Compliance Program education and training.

Minimum Qualifications : 7 or more years of experience in healthcare compliance, auditing, quality control or finance preferred.

Experience in the hospital environment preferred.

Education / Licensure / Certifications : Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) from the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) required.

Alternatively, obtainment of a law degree from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association and prior experience as a licensed attorney providing healthcare regulatory compliance advice and counsel are acceptable.

Pay Scale Information

USD $160,992.00 - USD $289,785.60

CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry.

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.

Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements. We provide a competitive compensation package that recognizes your experience, credentials, and education alongside a robust benefits program to meet your needs.
