Job Title : Warehouse Worker
Job Description
Join our team in a large industrial hardware distribution center. Perform general warehouse duties across various departments and shifts including inventory control, shipping, receiving, order filling, and stocking.
Utilize RF scan guns, headsets, forklifts, and other equipment.
Responsibilities
Shipping (6AM, 8AM start times) : Build pallets and load trucks. Sort, scan, and check merchandise to ensure proper loading for delivery.
Operate handheld scanners and be certified in electric power jack and forklift. Frequently lift and carry 0-70lbs, occasionally over 70lbs.
Involves extensive twisting, bending, squatting, and reaching.
Receiving (3AM, 4 : 50AM start times) : Unload incoming trucks, rebuild pallets, and sort items by department. Verify pallet count and labels using handheld scanners.
Constantly lift and carry 20-50lbs, occasionally over 50lbs. Frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
Stocking (3AM, 4 : 50AM start times) : Stock merchandise from receiving onto shelves. Use power equipment like reach trucks for heavier items and handheld scanners.
Frequently lift and carry 20-50lbs, occasionally over 50lbs. Frequent bending, reaching, occasional twisting, crawling, climbing, and kneeling.
Repack Order Fillers (5AM start times) : Pick smaller items and fill totes using a headset. Fast-paced environment with frequent bending, twisting, and climbing.
Frequently lift 0-50lbs+, occasionally carry 20-50lbs.
Full Case Order Fillers (5AM start times) : Pick heavier merchandise and larger items using power equipment. Label and transport items using stock pickers, reach trucks, and forklifts.
Constantly lift and carry 50-60lbs+. Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, and reaching.
Inventory Control (4 : 45AM start time) : Audit inventory reports, perform physical audits, and resolve inventory-related issues.
Prepare shipments for return and defective merchandise for disposition. Excellent data entry and computer skills required.
Constantly lift and carry under 20lbs, occasionally 20-50lbs. Frequent bending and squatting, occasional twisting, kneeling, crawling, and climbing.
Essential Skills
- Prior warehouse / order picking experience required.
- Experience in fast-paced jobs or heavy labor.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70+ lbs.
- Preferred experience with power equipment and forklifts.
- Proficiency with RF scanners and order picking.
- Excellent data entry and computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and Excel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in repack, stocking, material handling, inventory, packing, labeling, and loading.
- Good math and reading skills.
- Ability to interact with other departments and management.

Work in the world's largest independent hardware distributor's warehouse with over 150 employees. Enjoy a very clean and safety-oriented environment with multiple shifts.
Our fast-paced and physical work environment involves extensive twisting, bending, squatting, and stooping. A 15-minute stretch session is conducted before each shift to ensure safety and fitness.
