About The Position
Job Title : Behavioral Healthcare Provider 2 Job Specialty : Staff Augmentation Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day - Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM Guaranteed Hours : Experience : License : Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC)- Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW)- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)- Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist (IMFT)- Licensed Registered Nurse with a certificate of authority as a Clinical Nurse Specialist or Certified Nurse Practitioner with specialty certification in Mental Health or Psychiatry Certifications : As appropriate for the above-mentioned licenses Must-Have : Required training and development for maintaining the classification after employment, including completion of continuing professional education for license renewal pursuant to relevant sections of Ohio Revised Code.
Job Description : Develop, coordinate, implement, and provide interdisciplinary services focused on behavioral and biomedical science, relevant to health and illness, applying this knowledge to prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation.
- Independently provide services within the credentialed scope of practice and act as lead workers or liaisons to other support agencies.
- Act as a lead worker over lower-level providers or independently develop and implement treatment plans for clients.- Coordinate admission, assessment, evaluation, and treatment plans within the client's care cycle.
- Provide interventions for acute, complex clients and handle cases with numerous factors, offering crisis intervention.- Participate in establishing, implementing, and directing behavioral healthcare programs and treatment system objectives.
- Develop and design treatment intervention techniques and procedures, evaluating and modifying treatment systems based on client progress and behavior change abilities.
- Evaluate the performance of lower-level providers in treatment plan administration and maintain necessary data documents to meet federal, state, and local requirements.
- Serve as an active member of treatment teams, training sessions, and department and policy review meetings.- Establish and maintain working relationships with other facilities, agencies, and support services to coordinate referrals and conduct follow-up services.
Unusual Working Conditions : May require unusual work schedules or arrangements.- Exposure to clients who may be potentially violent.
Exposure to unusual noise, odors, or contagious diseases.- May require travel to community sites under contract with the Department of Mental Health.
