Recreation Assistant

Bearmountain West Springfield Healthcare Center a skilled nursing facility in West Springfield, MA, is currently seeking a Recreation Assistant.

The Assistant will plan and implement Activities programs under the supervision of their director to improve the functioning of residents who have a wide variety of physical, cognitive, social, emotional, developmental, or age-related needs.

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever level of ability at which they are currently functioning.
