Location : Manhattan, New York
A formal household in Turtle Bay needs to hire an experienced House Manager / Housekeeper to oversee and maintain a formal townhouse.
Responsibilities include :
- Ensuring proper temperature and humidity control is maintained to protect fine art.
- Checking the home for any leaks or necessary repairs.
- Overseeing the back patio to ensure drains are cleared.
- Making sure the front entrance of the building is clear of debris and presentable.
- Scheduling landscapers and outside vendors for repairs and seasonal services.
- Dusting and tidying the home.
- Being present for any deliveries.
- Paying invoices and submitting receipts to the Principal’s office.
- Preparing the home for any guests (rotate linens, stock refrigerator).
- Assisting with laundry / dry cleaning when family visits every few months.
Schedule is 20-25 hours per week from Monday to Friday. Hours are flexible, preferably in the morning to let in outside vendors, etc.
Candidates must have experience caring for fine art, work well independently, be able to climb three flights of stairs, be tech-savvy, communicate seamlessly via email and text, and have strong references from similar roles.
Salary range : $40-50 / hr. Immediate start!
