Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven, and seasoned Senior Content & Marketing Operations Manager to join our growing team.

This role is pivotal in driving awareness, engagement, and growth through innovative marketing campaigns, optimized operational processes, and impactful storytelling.

The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a strong analytical mindset, a passion for healthcare, and a track record of producing high-quality content and leveraging data to drive marketing effectiveness and ROI.

This position reports to the SVP of Marketing and will work closely with agency partners in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Creation :

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with business objectives, target audience insights, and brand positioning.
  • Lead the creation of high-quality, engaging content across multiple formats, including blog posts, articles, social media posts, whitepapers, case studies, videos, infographics, and more.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content aligns with brand voice, messaging, and standards.
  • Write, edit, and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Manage freelance designers, influencers, and other content creators to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Distribute content marketing assets across owned (website, social, email) and earned channels (PR, media placements) to increase visibility and engagement.
  • Implement digital marketing best practices to increase organic reach and audience engagement.

Marketing Operations

  • Own and optimize the marketing technology stack, including full administrative management of the HubSpot CRM system.
  • Develop and document processes for marketing automation and system efficiencies, ensuring seamless integration across all platforms.
  • Manage websites hosted on WordPress, ensuring seamless integration with HubSpot, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other marketing performance software.
  • Monitor site analytics, identify opportunities, and lead infrastructure improvements.
  • Build reporting frameworks and dashboards to track campaign performance and ROI.
  • Support all operational aspects of in-person and virtual events, including communications, logistics, day-of coordination, and preparation.

Content Distribution And Promotion

  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize the reach and impact of content across owned, earned, and paid channels.
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing agency to optimize content distribution through SEO, social media, email marketing, and other channels.
  • Track and evaluate KPIs of all marketing channels by market and uncover optimization opportunities.

Brand Building And Thought Leadership

  • Position Joyn Health as a thought leader in the healthcare industry through compelling storytelling and insightful content.
  • Identify opportunities for guest blogging, speaking engagements, podcast interviews, and other thought leadership initiatives to increase brand visibility and credibility.
  • Cultivate relationships with industry influencers, media outlets, and relevant partners to amplify brand reach and engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • 7+ years of proven experience in marketing operations and content marketing, preferably in the healthcare or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms, including HubSpot CRM & Marketing Hub systems, analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc.

and content management systems (WordPress).

  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously.
  • Impeccable writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Experience managing a team of content creators, influencers, freelancers, or agency partners.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and agency partners.
