JOB SUMMARY
A hospital system in Southwest Florida is seeking a PRN Operating Room Registered Nurse to deliver nursing care in patient care situations using established policies and procedures.
- Plan and implement nursing care in patient care situations
- Provide direct nursing care to patients
- Assume teaching and leadership responsibilities
- Participate in unit committee and quality improvement activities
- Capable of identifying standards of care common to patient population
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the State of Florida
- One year of recent OR experience is required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Intermediate computer knowledge : Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows
