Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address the social and emotional needs of students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assess students' strengths and challenges to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to students in need.
- Advocate for students and families to access external resources and services.
- Promote social-emotional learning and character development programs within the school.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to stay current with best practices in school social work.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- State licensure as a School Social Worker in Massachusetts (LCSW-S or LICSW).
- Experience working in an educational setting is preferred but not required.
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and munication skills.

- Ability to adapt to a diverse caseload spanning from K-12th grade.
- Flexibility and the capacity to respond effectively in crisis situations.
