- Join a dedicated team of engineers and scientists who assist Government and industry personnel to develop, integrate, test and field novel solutions to the hardest problems in air warfare.
- Provide technical expertise and operational context to the Integrated Test Team's test plans and test execution to ensure mission success in challenging and contested airborne environments.
- Incorporate lessons learned from previous test and operational deployments to improve future system performance and optimize warfighter effectiveness.
- Utilize your technical and tactical knowledge to train other APL staff in the development, test and operations of military platforms and systems.

- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or another related discipline.
- Have extensive experience in development, integration, and / or test of hardware or software systems.
- Have a demonstrated track record of excellence in technical leadership.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and technical writing skills and are able to effectively mentor professional staff.
- Are willing to travel between the APL Laurel, MD and Lexington Park, MD offices and within the National Capital Region.
- Are able to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by your start date and can ultimately obtain a Top Secret level clearance.
If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information.

- Have a Master's degree or Ph.D. in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or another related discipline.
- Have graduated from a formal test & evaluation curriculum (e.g. USNTPS, ETPS).
- Have leadership experience in one or more of the following areas : airborne EW systems operations, EW mission planning, test & evaluation of airborne systems.
- Have experience with USN / USAF Developmental or Operational Test organizations.
- Have a professional familiarity with Precision Strike Mission Area programs and sponsors.
- Hold an active Top Secret security clearance.
