Are you eager to assist a client through their Mental Health and Substance Use recovery process in an outpatient therapeutic setting?

We are seeking Clinicians to provide supportive person-centered counseling services to individuals in a compassionate way.

What You'll Do At BCCS :

• Be responsible for a caseload of clients, as identified by program requirements and in accordance with state regulations.
• Completes required evaluations and assessments.
• Documents all clinical services and interventions performed within the clients’ electronic record.
• Monitors client progress and adjusts treatment plans as needed.
• Maintains contact with outside providers to coordinate care.
• Confer with the Clinical Supervisor on a daily basis for casing.
• Participates in weekly treatment team meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

• Knowledge of assessment and counseling / therapy principles.
• Considerable knowledge of population being served and available resources.
• Ability to evaluate and screen clients for appropriate treatment and document progress of clients.
• May require crisis intervention to emergency situations.
• Skill in establishing rapport with clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a focused team.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Qualifications for the position are :

• Minimum associate degree with CADC or bachelor's degree.
• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field.
• 1 year experience in the Substance Abuse Field and / or Mental Health.
• Within 2 years, must have obtained certification as CADC (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor).

Schedule :

• Monday - Friday
• 5 : 00 a.m. - 1 : 00 p.m.

Salary : From $21 / hr. commensurate with experience / education.
