Professional Liability Coverage Attorney- Full-Time
Location : San Francisco, CA, 94104
Experience you will need :
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Licensed attorney in good standing in California.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Experience interpreting insurance policies, drafting coverage opinions, and litigating coverage matters is preferred.
- Strong and persuasive oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to anticipate challenges and recommend solutions.
- Experience in conflict resolution and complex problem scenarios.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and maintain a strong work ethic.
What you will be doing :
- Analyze complex insurance contracts and policy forms.
- Apply policy contract terms to a variety of claim scenarios.
- Stay current on legislative trends and court decisions and provide timely updates, insights, and recommendations.
- Produce comprehensive written opinions, including strategic recommendations, to business leaders.
- Work with claims management to provide expert legal advice on risk exposure, policy interpretation, litigation strategy, and claims handling protocols.
- Deliver high-quality work product within defined service level agreements with clients.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
