Our Strategy and External Affairs Division plays a key role in shaping the company's long-term direction, building strategic partnerships, and advancing our leadership in sustainability, public policy, and stakeholder engagement.

Position Summary

As an intern in the Strategy and External Affairs Division, you will support cross-functional initiatives that advance Xylem's strategic priorities, sustainability goals, and external engagement efforts. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to corporate strategy, public-private partnerships, ESG reporting, and global policy trends in the water sector.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, policy developments, and competitive landscapes.

Support the development of strategic presentations, briefing materials, and internal reports.

Contribute to stakeholder engagement efforts, including events, partnerships, and communications.

Collaborate with internal teams across strategy, communications, and government affairs.

Qualifications

Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

Interest in sustainability, water issues, and corporate strategy.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); experience with data visualization tools is a plus.

Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The estimated salary range for this position is $21 to $30 per hour. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
