Job Description :
- Engineering oversight of the production facility.
- Oversee the planning and execution of engineering projects.
- Work with Corporate Safety, Quality, and Industrial teams to encourage open communication, teamwork, and culture at the production facility.
- Allocate resources effectively when assigning projects based on skills and knowledge of the team.
- Assist with implementation of best practices, process, and tools to improve efficiency.
- Investigate and adopt new ideas to improve safety, team performance and product quality.
Job Requirements :
- 3-5 yrs experience required
- 4-year technical degree, in an electrical, electronics or mechanically oriented curriculum
- Must enjoy hands on product exposure
- Experience with machining, lathes, and tooling is preferred
- Electrical skills and experience not necessary, but beneficial
- AutoCAD or similar software a must
- Must have a continuous improvement mentality
- Multi-tasking, problem solving and strong communication skills a must
- Strong desire to please the customer with perfect product quality and to maintain a safe work environment
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to work standing for extended periods of time
- Required to use ladder, forklift or other means to acquire parts for product assembly
- Able to use power & hand tools, as well as electrical testing and measuring equipment
- Ability to lift 35 to 50 pounds independently
