We are seeking an Assembler with 5+ years of experience.
Machine building, electrical assembly, gas line, control panel, and leadership experience a plus.
Assembly Duties :
- Prioritizes work by communicating with team leaders and per production reports
- Responsible for understanding customer requirements for each job
- Determines the assembly sequence, steps, and process in coordination with engineering to develop optimal approach
- Assembles parts per prints
- Completes a quality inspection and / or test when required
- Maintains inventory of assembly-related consumables
- Coordinates with Purchasing on required tools and supplies to maintain the required supply
- Completes required documentation
- Performs preventive maintenance on assembly-related tools and equipment
- Participates in QC / continuous improvement processes in support of increased efficiencies
- Cleans assembly area after shift
Projects as assigned.
Safety Responsibilities :
- Always wear personal protective equipment when in the plant
- Participate in all required safety training and perform as trained
- Speak up when you see something happening that is not safe
Qualifications :
- Blue print reading
- Material handling and crane operation
- Machine building
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
