The RN will be working as a FLOAT between two Women's Health ambulatory clinics.  One located in Oceanside on Mesa Drive and the second in San Marcos, on Valpreda Rd, off Twin Oaks.

The nurse will start and finish the day at the assigned location, there is no traveling during the work day.

The RN  is responsible for delivering patient-centered services in accordance with the TrueCare policies, procedures, and standards.

This includes providing nurse triage services and health advice, performing routine office procedures, and testing, and participating in patient education.

Responsibilities include triaging patients on phone and in person as well as fetal monitoring.

Schedule is Monday to Friday 8 :

• 00am to 5 : 00 pm, flexibility to work 8 : 30am- 5 : 30pm is welcome.  Duties & Responsibilities : Nursing Functions : 50% Maintains own clinical skills staying current in skills, equipment, and trends in nursing, Efficiently and effectively provides total patient care including assessment, care, teaching, care planning, medications, and treatments.
• Assess and triage sick patients who walk in and arrange for their care consistent with TrueCare guidelines.
• Assist providers or other medical staff personnel with examinations and treatments, as directed or required.
• Collaborate with providers and patients to assess urgency of patient problems, resolve questions concerning medications, health education, and medical advice within skill level and scope of practice.
• Administer medications, as ordered by provider.

Administer vaccines, apply, and read TB Skin tests.
