Job description
Join our growing team at New York Speech Solutions (NYSS) which was founded in 2004 and has become one of the largest speech therapy private practices providing house calls to older adults on Long Island.
These speech pathologists will work with adults with communication and swallowing disorders at their private homes in central and northern Nassau county.
This is a per diem position offering $600-$1000 / week with the salary dependent on your desired number of hours. We're not able to accept CFY's.
Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities :
- Provides communication and swallowing evaluations and treatment to adults
- Writes evaluation reports, daily treatment notes, progress notes and discharge notes
Speech-Language Pathologist Qualifications :
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current New York State Speech Language Pathology license and registration
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with adults with communication and swallowing disorders
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Any new employee must remain with NYSS a minimum of 3 months in order to receive the sign-on bonus.
