Your role and responsibilities

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for technology and innovation? We're seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an IS Department Manager, Technology and Architecture.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the development, implementation, and execution of in your area of expertise.

Your daily tasks will include delivering cutting-edge solutions and enhancements, creating technology roadmaps that align with organizational plans, and ensuring efficient service capabilities.

To excel in this role, you should possess relevant qualifications and experience, strong communication skills, and a proven track record of success in Technology and Architecture.

• Executing sustainable maintenance of services, solutions, and / or applications by leading cross-functional global teams, establishing strong vendor partnerships, and comprehensive stakeholder management.
• Planning and managing implementation of organization-wide processes, procedures, tools, and techniques for identification, assessment, and management of risk inherent in operation of business processes and potential risks arising from planned change.
• Defining metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of implemented technologies and channels, setting continuous improvement on customer and consumer experiences, and ensuring technology-driven value creation in business.
• Establishing and managing analytics methods, techniques, and capabilities to enable the organization to analyze data, generate insights, create value, and drive decision-making.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems / Management, Computer Science, Business Systems or similar or equivalent experiences and minimum 10 years of Information System (IS) experience in defined technologies and within relevant IS domain.
• Strong leadership with the ability to guide multi-cultural partly virtual teams including 3rd party
• Ability to take a broad view of position and take initiative to communicate, interact and cooperate with others
• Experience developing landscape strategies, architectures and implementation plans.
• Experience developing technology, architecture and strategy, governance plans
• Ability to interpret new information, technology and methodology and then make it understandable to business.
• Excellent experience in translating business requirements into IS capabilities and solutions
• Excellent experience in leading IS people who do not report directly (influence capability)
• Strong experience in project planning and execution as well as economic aspects of system management and life cycle
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Experience deploying SaaS solutions, configuring and integrating to corporate or business managed internal systems
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
