Unit Information : Respiratory Therapy
Assignment Length : 13 weeks
Shift Details : Day and Night shifts available
Required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP Advanced, PALS
Scrub Details : Scrub Color / Attire - Pewter
Floating Requirements : Not specified
EMR Used : MEDITECH
Unit Size : 419 beds with 48 staff members
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio : 1 : 10-15 for first rounds
Typical Procedures Performed :
- Arterial Punctures
- Oxygen Therapy
- Aerosol Therapy
- Non-invasive ventilation
Other Relevant Skills :
- Patient assessment skills
- Perform treatment procedures as ordered by physician
- Critical care experience preferred
Weeks On-Call : Work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
