Job Details
- A hospital in Arizona is looking for an experienced ICU RN to work a travel assignment.
- The right candidate will have 2+ years of current ICU experience, along with an active ACLS, BLS and AZ (or compact) license.
- Travelers will float to tele about 80% of the time, so they need to be comfortable with this.
- They could float to sister facility in Laveen, as needed.
- COVID vaccine is required or declination form with appropriate documentation AND hospital approval.
- A dysrhythmia exam is required prior to start (2 max attempts) and a pass / fail Sim Lab is required on Day 1 of orientation (study guides provided with first day instructions).
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of current ICU experience
- Active ACLS, BLS
- Active AZ (or compact) license
- Comfortable with floating to different units
- COVID vaccine or declination with hospital approval

- Shifts : 7a-7p; 7p-7a
- Weekend Requirement : Required to work weekends in rotation with core staff
- Holidays : in rotation with core staff

- CLINICAL PRESCREEN, if clinical recommends, manager must approve before offer, no 2nd interview
- Dysrhythmia exam required prior to accepting, 2 attempts
- COVID vaccine exemption accepted for Medical or Religious Reasons
- PASS FAIL DAY 1 EXAMSIMs Lab : All RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes
- Nurses have been termed during SIMs Lab for breaking sterile field
- Additional training on lifts, restraints, & wound care
