Your Role and Impact
As a Tax Manager , you will :
- Lead with expertise, performing technical tax reviews and ensuring the highest level of accuracy and compliance in all tax business and individual returns.
- Provide invaluable mentorship, offering feedback and guidance to our team of tax preparers, while fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
- Drive innovation in tax research and planning projects, managing and delegating tasks to ensure optimal outcomes for our clients and firm.
- Engage actively in client meetings and tax planning efforts, positioning yourself as a key resource for both clients and staff on complex tax issues.
- Champion internal development, managing, training, and coaching staff, and potentially serving as a Career Advisor, shaping the future public accounting leaders.
- Uphold and contribute to our firm's reputation for excellence, staying informed of general economic and political trends that could impact the business / tax climate.
- Propel our firm's growth through strategic marketing and business development initiatives, expanding our reach and enhancing our service offerings to clients.
What We're Looking For
- A seasoned professional with a B.A. / B.S. Degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 4 years of tax experience.
- CPA certification is required; an MBT is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in coaching, mentoring, and working with teams.
- Exceptional technical tax consulting skills and a comprehensive understanding of tax laws and regulations.
- Outstanding communication abilities, with a talent for articulating complex tax concepts clearly and effectively.
- Proven marketing and business development skills, with a knack for identifying and seizing growth opportunities.
