Project Engineer- MEP Construction
Position Overview : The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing of mechanical components and systems for commercial and residential applications.
They will work closely with clients, contractors, and other engineers to ensure the project meets all specifications and regulations.
They will also provide mentorship and guidance to new engineers and provide guidance on project design and engineering.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop mechanical designs and drawings for commercial and residential applications using Revit and other engineering software.
- Evaluate current designs and suggest changes to improve performance and efficiency.
- Develop energy modeling to identify energy efficiency opportunities and cost savings.
- Prepare RFI responses for contractors and clients.
- Review construction drawings for accuracy and compliance with regulations and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure project specifications and regulations are being met.
- Provide mentorship to new engineers in the team.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or higher)
- Experience in conceptual design and MEP industry.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other engineering software.
- NCEES credentials and Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
