License : Nursing License required; pending license accepted but must be obtained prior to starting
Certifications : BLS required
Must-Have :
- Experience in Medical Surgical units
- Ability to float to other Medical Surgical and Telemetry units
- Flexibility for every other weekend requirement
- Completion of required modules pre-start (average 2 hours)
Job Description :
- Provide high-quality care to post-surgical medical-surgical patients
- Maintain patient ratios of 1 : 6
- Attend and complete a mandatory 16-hour orientation
- Perform charting using EPIC system
- Adapt to float between units as needed
- Ensure compliance with medical and religious exemptions for flu vaccinations
- Participate in the resource pool covering multiple Medical Surgical and Telemetry units
