JOB OVERVIEW
The Faena Butler delivers unique services and amenities carefully tailored to each guest staying at the hotel. With the highest level of sophistication, discretion and anticipation the Faena Butler greets every guest at the doorsteps of a perfectly prepared guest suite.
No guest request remains unanswered. The finest amenities paired with personal attention by a dedicated Faena Butler await every guest throughout their stay.
Traditional butler services are matched with the demands of today’s luxury traveler to create memorable experiences throughout.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies / service procedures / standards.
- Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended.
- Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
- Maintain complete knowledge of :
- All Resort guests.
- Scheduled daily activities.
- In-house groups.
- Resort extension numbers.
- All special requests (DND, screen calls, NRG, etc.)
- Hours of operation of each outlet.
- Features and services provided by the resort.
- Act as the final gatekeeper for room preparedness and fulfillment of guest request / preference items as collected by the guest experience manager team.
This includes room cleanliness and final inspection, special request delivery, floral and amenity delivery, personal stationary delivery, afternoon refresh of daily amenity, nightly amenity delivery and honor bar restocking.
- Facilitate garment pressing, footwear cleaning service and complimentary beverage.
- Assist with maintenance of each room daily; refreshing water and daily amenity and assist with departure plans on the day prior to departure.
Assist guests upon departure.
- Communicate with all Housekeeping team members to ensure all guestrooms and suites are cleaned and maintained to the highest standard.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping the timing for occupied guestroom servicing based on guest’s preference.
- Meet arriving guests at the guestroom doorstep upon arrival or within 5 minutes after entering a guest room.
- Offer detailed room orientation, complimentary pressing, and fresh bucket of ice upon arrival of guest.
- Coordinate room service with In-Room Dining and assist in preparing the room for a meal.
- Maintain butler pantry and keep inventory of all items.
- Coordinate guest requests with Guest Experience Manager and Concierge Team.
