Position Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time temporary position in Redmond, WA, for the 2024 / 2025 school year.
This role involves providing occupational therapy services onsite to students. The position starts on September 3, 2024, and ends on January 24, 2025.
Ideal candidates must hold an active Washington OT license and an ESA certification.
Key Responsibilities :
Therapeutic Services : Deliver individualized occupational therapy to students, focusing on enhancing their fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
Assessment & Evaluation : Conduct assessments to identify student needs, develop and implement effective treatment plans, and monitor progress.
IEP Participation : Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to contribute to and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Documentation : Maintain detailed and accurate records of therapy sessions, assessments, and student progress.
Classroom Integration : Provide recommendations and support for integrating therapy goals into the classroom setting.
Qualifications :
Certification Required : Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Washington and ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification.
Experience : Previous experience in a school setting or working with children is preferred.
Skills : Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
