Scientific Search has recently partnered with a leading provider of calibration, validation, and metrology services who has tasked us in finding them an experienced Sales Director.

They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to lead our sales team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in driving revenue growth, building and managing high-performing sales teams, and establishing strong customer relationships within the metrology and calibration industry.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by understanding client needs and aligning product and service offerings accordingly.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Provide visionary leadership to the sales team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and customer-centricity.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of sales professionals, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to succeed.
  • Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular evaluations, and implement performance improvement plans as needed.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key clients and partners to drive business growth.
  • Streamline and optimize the sales process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement best practices in sales methodologies, tools, and technologies.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and reports for management, providing insights into sales performance and market trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in sales leadership within the metrology or calibration industry.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
