Job Title : Technician Job Specialty : Sterile Processing (SPT) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 2 years of recent Sterile Processing Technician experience required License : Not specified Certifications : - SPT certification (active at time of submission) - Basic Life Support (AHA) - COVID vaccine (declinations not accepted) Must-Have : - 2 supervisory references (1 from within 6 months and 1 from the last 12 months) - Skills checklist - COVID vaccination status included in submission notes Job Description : - Care for, handle, and store instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary for surgery.
- Process goods for redistribution throughout the medical facility. - Assist Sterile Processing Specialists with various team lead duties, such as maintaining competencies.
- Participate in on-call and weekend schedules as determined by the facility.
