Enterprise Architect SME - Clearance Required - Security Clearance Required
Overview
LMI is seeking a enterprise architect at our client site at Scott AFB. The goal of this project will be to assist the U.S.
Transportation Command and its components (Air Mobility Command (AMC) and Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC)) in its enterprise, business and solution architecture goals.
Under the guidance of the assigned government lead, this role will accomplish day-to-day task management from key stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Experience with / functional knowledge of Global Transportation through Department of Defense (DoD) systems and process.
- Integrate a holistic design of people, processes, data, and technology to execute strategic goals and solve business problems.
- Support the overall project delivery by performing process mapping, requirements gathering, and assisting with test plans and testing
- Collaborate with project manager, stakeholders, and project team to build a common understanding of the as-is / to-be process flows.
- Document requirements for the to-be process.
- Translate business requirements and technical implementation requirements.
- Utilize Continuous Process Improvement to extend and mature architecture processes
- Perform research, as necessary, and provide analysis with minimal guidance
- Utilize and apply both critical thinking and system thinking skills
Qualifications
Minimum :
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Social Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical disciplines or equivalent years of experience
- Five (5) or more years of related professional experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective time management skills with the ability to perform tasks independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Must possess an active SECRET US Government clearance
Desired :
- EA certification (e.g., Enterprise Architecture Certification (CEA), Associate Certified Enterprise Architect (ACEA))
- Experience establishing enterprise functional and technical architecture design patterns and technical reference architecture and providing subject matter expertise to implement governance of that framework in the federal space.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to compose, write and edit a variety of general business correspondence, management reports, technical presentations, training material, proposals and position papers.
- Must be comfortable interacting with key leadership, be articulate, and be proactive.
- Must be able to work in a highly charged and fast-paced environment to prioritize and complete assigned tasks based on guidance from senior leadership.
Interacts with staff at all levels and across organizational teams.
