Job Title : Site Reliability Engineer / Platform Maintenance Lead

Summary :

We are actively seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, proficiency in AWS, Terraform, and a deep understanding of DevOps practices.

As a vital team member, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems, contributing significantly to the automation of processes for seamless infrastructure operation.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Uphold and maintain the platform, coordinating with upstream and downstream applications for seamless integration.
  • Coordinate with vendors and external teams to ensure the health of non-production environments, addressing any outages promptly.
  • Design and implement scalable, reliable infrastructure on AWS using Terraform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and performance.
  • Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes to increase efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues with minimal downtime.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide support for critical issues.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance system reliability.
  • Work with other development leads to coordinate releases, taking primary accountability for deployment planning, validation, and post-production care.
  • Participate in necessary triage calls, ensuring ownership and accountability for incident resolution.
  • Lead regression automation and other automation initiatives in collaboration with the vendor team.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven mid-level experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in AWS services and infrastructure management using Terraform.
  • Solid understanding of DevOps processes, practices, and toolchains.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Ruby.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, security, and system administration.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • Terraform Associate Certification
  • Any Relevant certifications in DevOps and SRE practices.

Salary range : $82,500-$140,000

Overtime eligible : Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible : Yes

Sales bonus eligible : No
