Ecentria is looking to add a HR Manager to our team! This role will be responsible for day-to-day employee relations, managing company-wide benefit plans, ensuring HR system integrations support a best-in-class experience for our employees, and working alongside the HR Team to execute HR programs across Ecentria.

Responsibilities Include :

Employee Relations & Performance Management-

  • Collaborate and provide guidance to management regarding corrective action procedures and employee relations issues. Escalate issues to HR Leadership as appropriate.
  • Support the performance management process by training on the system, helping set goals, answering questions, ensuring participation, etc.

Benefits Administration-

  • Champion Ecentria’s Benefits Administration by ensuring benefit plans are properly communicated to employees, plan administration maintains compliance, and process new hire / termination / open enrollment / COBRA / qualifying life event changes.
  • Serve as main point of contact for insurance broker and 401k partners. Ensure smooth processing of annual audits and 5500 processing.
  • Oversee processes for claims filed with third-party agencies such as unemployment and workers compensation.
  • Prepare, plan, and educate employees on health and welfare options throughout the year and during annual open enrollment.
  • Facilitate timely conversations with employees regarding leave of absence requests, benefits related questions, and other general requests.

Workday System Integrity-

  • Maintain knowledge of payroll processes and system configurations. Audit and review biweekly payroll processing. Serve as payroll back-up as needed.
  • Maintain employee personnel files and ensure the integrity of data captured in Workday.
  • Serve as point of contact with outside consultant on Workday system upgrades and workflow changes.

Other Responsibilities-

  • Partner with Corporate Human Resources Team to implement, deliver and execute HR processes and programs. Support and partner with HR team members for driving broad objectives and goals of the department.
  • Perform full-cycle recruitment for exempt and non-exempt staff positions in coordination with Corporate Talent Acquisition Team as needed.

Develop and execute high-volume sourcing and recruitment practices to identify external talent. Provide weekly updates to all hiring managers.

Manage internal candidate hiring process.

  • Ensure new hires are properly onboarded and departing employees are properly offboarded. Escalate exit feedback to management.
  • Ensure compliance with Ecentria policies, processes, and practices; maintain current knowledge of federal, state, and local employment practices and labor laws.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills & Requirements

  • 6+ years progressive Human Resources experience required.
  • Previous hands-on experience managing HRIS workflow and / or HR system implementations required. Working knowledge of Workday preferred.
  • Working knowledge of payroll processes or previous experience processing and auditing payroll required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Employee relations skills - must be able to manage employee concerns in a strong, but diplomatic fashion.
  • Solid understanding of employment laws and managing multi-state employees and locations.
  • Ability to work with all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to maintain extreme confidentiality and remain at a professional leadership level.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfortable working independently with a keen ability to escalate situations to HR Leadership as needed.
  • Typing, texting, telephone communications, presentation skills, public relations skills, account management skills, seeing, hearing, sitting, walking, strong written & verbal communication skills, ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
