About The Position
- Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Labor and Delivery Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night 4x12-Hour (18 : 45 - 07 : 15) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 2 years required License : Must be active by start Certifications : AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP;
- ACLS preferred Must-Have : - Minimum 2 years of experience in labor and delivery and postpartum care- Experience in a Level II NICU / special care nursery Job Description : - Admit and care for labor patients - Provide care for mother-baby couplets- Manage a 3 couplet assignment for a total of 6 patients- Attend deliveries as a baby nurse, provide resuscitation and stabilization to infants after delivery if needed- Triage 1-2 labor patients and assume labor patients with 1 : 1 acuity, including those with hypertension and insulin-dependent diabetes- Familiarity with unit systems such as Omnicell, Cerner, Powerchart, Powerchart Maternity- Must meet weekend requirement of every third weekend / 4 weekend shifts per contract- Call requirement is necessary;
no float requirement- Wear navy blue scrubs- Facility is smoke-free Additional Information : Housing may be provided nearby inclusive of amenities.
Travelers must be from a location 50 miles or greater from the facility to be considered. Cerner experience is not required, but onboarding requires a fit test completion onsite.
